GAP-DC Invited Seminar Series

Continuing our seminar series at GAP-DC, we were delighted to host Dr. David Cooke from the James Hutton Institute on 17th October 2024. Dr. Cooke delivered a compelling presentation on "The application of eDNA metabarcoding for oomycete pathogens of plants and animals for improved biosecurity."

The seminar was highly engaging, offering valuable insights into the innovative use of eDNA metabarcoding to strengthen biosecurity measures. The session concluded with a dynamic Q&A, where participants actively exchanged ideas and delved deeper into this critical area of research.
